RCBA Child Abuse Prevention Training
The RCBA Child Abuse Prevention Training is a comprehensive self-paced online course designed to provide participants with the knowledge and awareness needed to recognize, respond to, and help prevent child abuse and neglect. Through engaging online lessons and educational content, students will learn about the different forms of child maltreatment, common warning signs, behavioral and physical indicators, risk factors, and the importance of early intervention.
Participants will also explore evidence-based prevention strategies, protective factors that promote child safety and healthy development, and best practices for creating safe, supportive environments for children in homes, schools, healthcare settings, childcare programs, and community organizations. The course discusses the responsibilities of recognizing suspected abuse and provides an overview of mandatory reporting concepts and applicable legal considerations.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an RCBA Training Institute Certificate of Completion and a temporary RCBA digital wallet card.
